We are a Southern Baptist Church intent on fulfilling our mission based on the following beliefs:
There is one, and only one, living and true God. The eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Personal salvation comes only by faith in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, who died on the cross as a substitute for our sin. We believe in Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead and that He will return one day to judge the world.
The Holy Bible, God’s written Word, has absolute authority and the power to provide spiritual direction and purpose for our daily lives. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without error, as its message.
The practice of believer’s baptism by immersion is an outward expression of the inward decision to place our faith in Jesus Christ. For more information about baptism click here.
We share the Lord’s Supper together periodically to remember His death and anticipate His return.
Christians will develop in their faith and be committed to a life of personal devotion to God. We believe this is expressed through:
- Worshipping together as the local body of Christ and personally
- Participating in a small group Bible study
- Serving in ministry and missions
- Giving financially through tithes and offerings
- Introducing others to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
