Corporate Prayer Opportunities
House of Prayer – Prayer Hallway
Join us each Wednesday night from 5:45-7:45 in the prayer hallway to pray for our church, for each other, and for the kingdom. Different prayer stations and helps will be available for you during this self-guided time. Stay as little or as long as the Lord leads you.
“Even those I will bring to My holy mountain And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.” (Isaiah 56:7)
Men’s Prayer Groups
6:30 am on Wednesdays in prayer room
6:45 am on Fridays in prayer room
Moms In Prayer School Group
CBC has a MIPI group that goes to KCIW (women’s prison) the first Saturday of the month if anyone is interested in Prison ministry. If interested, contact Chris Platt at email@example.com.
Let us pray for you! The next time you’re in the building, stop by the Prayer and Praise boards near the Welcome Center. Write your requests and/or praises and post them on the board. These requests will be prayed over weekly and then brought to the sanctuary or prayer room once a month for the whole body to pray over corporately.
“For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” (Matthew 18:20)

If you would like to receive Pastor Donnie’s prayer requests, sign up here.
If you are interested in joining a team of warriors who pray before and during Sunday worship times, please sign up here.
“Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving;” (Colossians 4:2)
“Solemn assemblies are times for believers to acknowledge God’s righteous judgment upon His people (or the nation). It is a time to acknowledge our desperate need to return to God for his forgiveness, mercy or special direction. Prayer is only powerful if it proceeds from people with deeply cleansed hearts (Psalm 66;18; Isaiah 59:1-2; James 5:16)” – Returning to Holiness, Frizzell
Periodically, CBC will be entering into a special season of prayer and solemn assemblies. Our most recent Solemn Assembly was held on Sunday, December 4th.
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Prayer, Care, Share (John 10:1-9)
Pray, Care and Share with people in your circle of influence. Our goal is to have representatives praying, caring and sharing wherever our members are located (every neighborhood, each school, each family, every friend).
- Pray for God’s will to be done in lives around you.
- Ask God to prepare hearts and open eyes to the person of Christ.
- Ask God to grant you favor among people.
- Invest in serving others in Christ’s name.
- Watch for times of tension, transition and celebration. (examples: new in community, a birth of a child, the death of a loved one.)
- Be sensitive to God’s promptings.
- Share your story of how God worked in the past and is working today.
- Share the good news of Jesus Christ in written or verbal form.
- Invite them to a worship service or Christ centered event.
National Day of Prayer
On the first Thursday of May, we gather under the canopy at 6:30 pm to pray for our nation.
911: 9 pm – 1 Church – 1 Prayer
- The Word of God (1 Cor. 14:24-25)
- For God to send revival to our country/church
- By name for an unbeliever and for unbelievers who attend CBC to be saved
- That people be convicted of sin and the secrets of their hearts will be disclosed
- That people will fall on their faces and worship God
A weekly prayer list including praises and concerns is available on stands throughout our facility.
Prayer vigils are held periodically throughout the year. These opportunities typically take place around January 1, Easter weekend, Annual Church Conference, High Attendance Days, prior to mission trips and other key moments in the life of our church.
