The Administrative Council was created with adoption of revised Articles of Guidance by the Church in 1999. The functions of the new Council were formerly assigned to 3 standing committees that operated independently of each other – Stewardship, Personnel and Trustees. The council meets monthly and reports its actions to the church through minutes and the Annual Church Conference. The Administrative Council is the governing body of the church. The Administrative Council consists of eight members including the Senior Pastor, a paid staff member designated by the Senior Pastor and 6 lay members. The chair of the administrative body is selected from the lay members. The term of office for the designated paid staff member is one year. The term of office for each lay member is three years. The Church Administrator serves as an ex-officio member of the Council.
