The Men’s Ministry team at CBC has a heart and passion to see men mature in their faith and have a deep and rewarding walk with Christ.  We are striving to fulfill the Great Commission “Therefore, go and make disciples…”  If you are interested in deepening your walk by learning the foundations of the faith then please join us when possible at one of these events.

Upcoming Events

Thursday mornings at 6:45 AM at Crestwood Baptist Church.  The study is based on the Men’s Fraternity series and is entitled “The Quest for Authentic Manhood”.  It is a video enhanced study and has been highly recommended by other men who have completed the study. Tom Townsend is teaching the course in room 1224.

We have several projects taking place in Aug-Sept that are ideal for men.  Randy Foster is leading a house renovation project in early August.  Ken Stringer is leading a painting and general maintenance project at the McCauley and Wright houses on September 13.  Phil Warren is one of the leaders for the Touched Twice Clinic August 23 and volunteers are needed for that.  We are painting and patching the roof of a picnic shelter behind Harrods Creek Baptist Church (probably September 6).  We are selling tickets and working concessions at the North-South football game on September 19.  Ironman volunteers are needed August 24. You can talk to these leaders for details or go to or our missions board for details.

Saturday Morning Study

Chapter 3 on Samuel’s call was an awesome study last weekend.  I’ll be teaching and Mark Todd will be cooking the next few weeks.  Join us at 7:00 am this Saturday as we continue with chapter 4.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10  “9Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. 10For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up.
