The Men’s Ministry team at CBC has a heart and passion to see men mature in their faith and have a deep and rewarding walk with Christ. We are striving to fulfill the Great Commission “Therefore, go and make disciples…” If you are interested in deepening your walk by learning the foundations of the faith then please join us when possible at one of these events.

Mark Roberts is planning the following trips this year. For additional information you can contact Mark at 494-2946.
- March: Overnight on the Big South Fork River here in KY
- April: two night trip on the Currant River in Missouri
- May: Second section of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail in upstate New York
- September: a NO PORTAGE trip in the Boundary Waters
The Big South Fork trip is on for March 28-29. We will leave CBC at 6 AM on Friday 3/28, meeting the outfitter at Blue Herron on the Big South Fork (our takeout). We will be at the put in at Station Camp around 11:00. We will paddle to a camp site along the river and spend the night. Saturday we will be at our take out before noon, back to CBC by 7 PM Saturday. This is a paddle on moving class 1-2 water through gorges and palisades. This is regarded as the best river paddle in the state. Costs are $15.00 per person if you bring a boat (kayaks or canoes), $60 per person if you need to rent a canoe and the related gear. (The $15 fee covers the shuttle service). Additional costs are chipping in for gas, food on the way down and back, and two lunches, dinner and breakfast on the river.
There is a brief meeting after second service in room 1204 this Sunday, Nov. 24, to introduce you to the M14 booklet and the details for our June 22-28 trip to Jacksonville, Florida. The trip is ideal for families and so I want to encourage you to bring your family to Jacksonville. We will be hammering stuff, leading VBS day camps and Upward basketball camps, working with refugees and the homeless, etc. Check it out!
