About Mission Crestwood
7311 Hwy. 329 Bypass, Crestwood, 40014
- Closet: The Closet is in desperate need of shorts of all sizes!!
- Hot Dog Hover: is returning at the Closet by popular demand. Begin discussing in your bible study and small groups which week this summer (May 24th – Aug. 9th) you would like to bring the meal and serve the community. Flyers will be available on the Mission Board in April. Contact Patsy.Littrell@insightbb.com to reserve your week.
- Multi-housing: CBC/Mission Crestwood is sponsoring the Crestwood Revival June 15th and 16th. Plan now to bring the unsaved friends you have been praying for during our 911 time each evening
- Pantry: The pantry is low on toiletries (shampoo, toilet paper, toothpaste, deodorant).
- KPAP: We are aware of people who need assistance through KPAP (prescripton assistance) who do not have transportation to get to CBC. If you can help, contact Rusti@crestwoodbaptist.org.
Mission Crestwood is a ministry of Crestwood Baptist Church. There are several areas of Mission Crestwood that are working within the Crestwood community.
The goal of the Multi-housing ministry is to share the Gospel with people in their apartment complex by providing bible study for men, women and children. This is the place to volunteer if you are interested in preparing yourself for a mission trip at the state, national or world-wide levels.
The Closet and The Pantry strive to bring wholeness to our community in Jesus’ name by developing relationships with people and sharing the Gospel on a one-to-one basis with all who have need of clothing and food. The greatest benefit we can provide for our community is to point them to Jesus. There are many opportunities to serve in these areas. The Closet and The Pantry are not open when school is closed due to poor weather conditions or when there is a scheduled holiday.
KY Prescription Assistance Program (KPAP). We have had people in the community that could use assistance in obtaining free medications. If you have basic computer skills, this may be the place for you to serve. All appointments with clients will be scheduled ahead so you can match your service hours with the number of hours you have available. If you are interested, let Julie Law know and a training meeting can be scheduled.
Programs In Development
Celebrate Recovery is a program geared to successfully overcome “hurts, habits and hang-ups” through the words of Jesus. If you are interested in finding out more about serving contact Rusti. At this point in time, we are looking for people to take on leadership roles.
Dare to Care – Mission Crestwood is now an official agency of Dare to Care! Produce will be delivered each Thursday afternoon at 4:45pm and we will have until 6:00 to package produce items for shoppers to take home with them as they leave The Closet. If you have an hour to help, please stop by The Closet.
